So sorry I'm late. We've been celebrating our Dude Kevin's birthday and it was my turn to step away and write the post, but I was having *way* too much fun.
Anyway, I'm here to announce the winner of our Cowboy Up March Inspirational challenge.
Our winner of the Paper Temptress $20 gift certficiate is:
Our blog hops are always one big loop so jump right in and keep hopping until you've visited each blog. Be sure to leave a comment because one member of the team is the mystery host and will give a Dude Time Doodles image to one lucky commenter. Below is the list of links so start hopping!
So glad you joined us today. This week we're celebrating Cowboys. Everything about cowboys hollers masculine. From their jingling spurs to their ten gallon hats. Their six shooters to their roping lassos. They have big hearts and look really good when they ride up on their white horses.
Our sponsor this week is the fantastic PaperTemptress. You can find all of your crafting paper needs here. From the standard cardstock to your drop dead goregous linens.
Your challenge, should you choose to accept it (Yeah, threw a little Mission Impossible at ya there.), is to use the colors and elements in the photo below to create a masculine card or project with a cowboy in mind.
Your prize for winning the challenge is a $20 gift certificate to PaperTemptress!!!
Everyone has a little cowboy in them. Let's see how the Dudette's and our one Dude can cowboy up.
Dawn has created a serene scene with Cactus Kirk, awesome papers and a great charm with a cool font for her sentiment.
Ruth used CowPoke Cal and one of the accompanying sentiments for a great birthday card with kraft paper and gold stars.
Anne used a lot of twine (along the edges of the card, the star and Cal's hat band) on her great six-shooter card with CowPoke Cal, bright color cardstock and silver six-shooters cutouts.
Rodeo Randy is the center piece of Tammy's card with fabulous papers, textures and funny sentiment.
Cactus Kirk is back in Kevin's cowboy creation with gold stars and cool green gingham paper.
C Bizkit is having a hard time remembering the hill in Michelle's great birthday card with brown twine, great paper choices and a super layout.
Looks like Deputy Dave is having a swinging good time in CG's beautiful card with Deputy badge accents.
One of this month's guest designers, Crafty Girl, created a great birthday card using CowPoke Cal and some dimensional stars.
Sharon, our Aussie guest designer, proves that cowboys aren't only in America with her cool card using Super Trooper Tripp, deputy badges and lasso.
Now it's your turn to prove you can cowboy up!! Follow the rules, link your cowboy creation using the InLinkz tool below before March 27th at 8 PM EST and you could be the winner of the $20 gift certificate from

Hard to believe there are only a few more days until tax day in the United States, but as much as we dread that deadline, we can and do look forwarded to celebrating St. Patrick's Day and the first day of spring!
The very best celebrating is always done with a friend. With that in mind, the freebie for March is Forever Friends and we would love for you to share with us what you've created with it for your favorite Dude. If your creation is chosen, you will be our guest designer for April and get to party with our Dude and Dudettes.
Sorry you missed the freebie!
To play along,
1. Use the freebie image above in a humorous creation of astounding creativity and ingenuity (hehehe no pressure)
2. Submit a photo of your creation via InLinkz cache below
3. And on March 20th we will announce who will be our Guest Designer.
4. Spread the word - you only have one week - this will be a monthly event so be sure to come back on the 2nd Wednesday of each month and play again!

Hi, I am CraftyGirl (not my given name). I am originally from New Jersey but now live in Virginia Beach Virginia with my loving and supportive husband for over 25 years. We have two basset hounds (Romeo and Juliet) and a cat (Sir Die Hard). I think I was born crafting and come but it honestly since my mom was the queen of crafts. She taught me most of what she knew and all of what I know about life and crafts. I love working with paper and am passionate about making cards.
I’m Sharon and I live in the Land Down Under!!! I have been crafting for at least half my life and love all sorts of paper and fabric crafts. I love to make my own background paper, I love collage, beautiful papers & embellishments – anything at all really and I love all styles as well. I’m excited to be a Guest Designer at Dude Time Doodles as I actually have an occupation that is considered “male orientated” so I can certainly relate to all these Masculine images LOL and they are fantastic for those hard to make for people (men)!! I’m looking forward to the challenges this month and can’t wait to see what everyone comes up with!
