MAY'S NEW RELEASE BLOG HOP

This month's New Release has some really fun characters that are joining the rest of the Dudes.  So without further ado, meet Roger Redskin, Sagremor the Foolhardy, and Vinny Flytrap.

As always we are having a blog hop so you get to meet each character up close and personal.

The 23rd of May and the Cat was away.....

 EXTRA! EXTRA! Read all about it!  While the diligent Mayor of Dudeville Hollow was busy at work, the creative staff took it upon themselves to sneak into the Mayor's office and wreak havoc!  It seems that someone told the artists at Dude Time Doodles that the Mayor was out on official community business and they were bored so they created what they term as the Welcome to School being out and summer rushing in creation!

Upon questioning the now apprehended artist - his confession went something like this:

"I am Joe Observant. I realized that these little sticky rubby thingys had really bright colors, which then got me to thinking that I want to color, so I started coloring one of my favorite self portrait doodles Lawrence of Lawn (you know because I am so much like Lawrence of Arabia that Mrs. Mayor couldn't resist naming the image after how she sees me - wink, wink - she really does think I'm an Arabian Stud!)....but anyway I saw the cool colors on the rubby thingies, and then this green cardstock literally jumped on the top of the mountainous pile of cardstock that Mrs. Mayor has on hand in case of an emergency (I don't know what emergency she keeps referring to but I'm pretty sure that we will NOT be wallpapering the house or burning it when it gets cold) and then out of the corner of my eye I saw this punchy dohicky that looked like grass or blood oozing down the wall but I digress, and viola the best card ever created by a Dude Time Doodler was born!"

The Mayor of Dudeville Hollow is now issuing a challenge to the design team of Dude Time Doodles who inspired said artist and Mr. Mayor to sneak in to her space and create that they all come up with their own doodle and use it in a card or project that we will showcase on a future blog post. MAY'S FIRST WEDNESDAY CHALLENGE

Welcome one and all! Before we get started on the new challenge, I must report the sad news that Cleota our Sr. DT and Sponsor Coordinator has decided to step down from Dude Time Doodles. But no fear, our very own Anne has graciously stepped into the position! So as we say farewell and a big thank you to Cleota, we also send a welcome and thank you to Anne!

As hard it is to believe, it is the First Wednesday in May and that means it's time to begin a new challenge and it is sure to please our dudes because

IT'S SPORTS DAY!

Regardless, winter, summer, spring or fall, there's sports involved and no doubt, Dude Time Doodles has an image that features your dude's favorite athletic pastime! So all you must do is be inspired by what the Dude and the Dudettes have created for the occasion and then create something special for the dude or dudes in your life following the theme and the rules on the sidebar. Rachel Fisher

I'm a full time mum of two girls - Lucy who is 5 and Penny who is four. Lucy is at school and Penny very ready to go. I used to teach chemistry at secondary school before the girls came along and before I was a teacher I lived up in Scotland where I did a phD in environmental geology. I'm happily married to Shaun who's a professor of physics, and when I'm not being mum I run a rainbows group in my village. Any spare time available to me I craft, run and grow vegetables! Crafting is definitely my biggest passion and it takes up increasing amounts of time - especially now since I've discovered blogging!
