February's New Release Blog Leap

Today is the day that hundreds of maidens from neighboring vicinities have been waiting four years for, LEAP DAY! As expected, because of the large swarm of spinsters eager-to-be-brides, the dudes headed for the hills, fearful of being snagged into marriage! But never fear, the hopeful brides are counting on the music provided by the Dudeville Holly Hillbilly Hounds and all the spiked punch you can drink that will be served at the dance this evening to bring the boys home. 

While we're waiting for the wedding ceremonies to begin, leap around blogland and meet Dude Time Doodles' new residents Jon Jogger, Father Flanagan, Wes Wrestler, and Billy Amish.

February's First Wednesday Challenge

Howdy! Can you believe it's February? Next to Christmas, February is the most exciting month for the residents of Dudeville Hollow. Festivities get underway on February 2 when townsfolk gather at Gilbert Groundhog's burrow for his weather prediction. Afterwards, the
citizens line up at the Mayor's office for tickets to the Valentine's Dance held at the Dudeville Motel. The month long love celebration ends on Leap Night with the sound of the wedding march performed by Dudeville Hollow Hillbilly Hounds for the overjoyed brides and their shocked grooms not sober enough to run! 


With love in mind and in honor of Valentine's Day we want to see a touch of RED. 

You have until February 7th to play along. The Top Blog will receive three Dude Time Doodles images and as always, there will be a badge for the Top Three.

Please meet and welcome Mags, our Guest Designer for February.       

My name is Margaret but everyone knows me as Mags and I am 47 years old.  I have been married for 25 years and have two gorgeous girls, Heather 24 and Gayle 20.  I also am Mummy to three gorgeous cats.  I have been crafting in one form or another (knitting, sewing, cross stitch) for all my life but only really got into papercrafting about 2.5 years ago.  I was hooked and am now totally addicted to anything paper related.  When not working full time I try to spend some time every day in my craft room.

Thanks for stopping. Please add a touch of RED to your creation and join us for the challenge.
