Say hello to Bobby Bubbles!  Bobby loves jumping in the tub with snorkel and fins.  Why he was just heard yelling at his Mom that he is too big for rubber duckies and ready to hit the deep water.  Watch Out Bobby!  With deep seas come some pretty unique sea creatures.....

Anne had the old Bobby Darrin tune to inspire her,

 however I don't think that Swamp Thing 

was what Bobby was singing about!

Ruth had the right idea when she thought about 

what she would do if she went snorkeling in the bathtub!

Cleota however is NEVER to young for rubber duckies - 

as a matter of fact she got a hold of Bobby's and is keeping it safe for him 

when he changes his mind!

And finally Tammy - our ever optimistic snorkeler 

who thinks that all adversity should be laugh at straight in the gills!

March Sketch Challenge

Dude Time Doodles this is your sketch challenge hostess, Tammy, welcoming each of  you and hoping once you have seen the sketch, know what the prize is and have seen what the design team has created, you will decide to play along. 

So, we finally made it to March and March brings us, Ash Wednesday on March 9, the first day of SPRING on March 20, and St. Patrick's Day on March 17!  But, did you know today is "Old Stuff Day", "Dr. Seuss Day" and "Namesake Day" and yesterday was "Pig Day" (I personally hate that I missed that celebration). 

All the Dudettes have gathered today to entice you into joining our monthly sketch challenge, held on the first Wednesday of each month.

Hi…My name is Crystal

I was born in a small cabin in the woods without running water….. uh, wait….wrong story.  Bwahahahahahahahahaha!!!

My artistic abilities didn’t start in a cabin.  But they started very early on.  There isn’t a time I can remember that I wasn’t creating something artistically, drawing, painting, sewing, the list goes on and on. My family was always encouraging me to try anything ‘arty’.  Most of my jobs were art related.   I did pastel portraits at Six Flags over GA when I was just 16 yrs old. (I was the youngest artist there).  I made sand paintings for a company.  Jobs that weren’t art related…. Well, I made extra money doing some things for the company’s marketing departments on occasion.  I found a way to do my artwork!!!!

Which brings us to present day…….  I’m a SAHM that now has the opportunity to “play” all the time.  I still paint portraits and murals.  I make paper crafts.  I sew, crochet, knit….anything that keeps my hands and mind working.

Thanks for the opportunity to join in as a guest designer this month……it will be great working with all of you!!!!

We here at Dude Time Doodles are so stoked that you decided to join us today for our  March New Release Blog Hop. 

The Dudettes have designed some sweet projects to show off these rad images!  We'll get you started on the hop in a jiffy.  But first, please remember that there is not a starting or ending point to our hop.  No matter where you HOP on, you'll be on the right track.  Once you have done a 360 then you have completed the Hop.

February Inspiration Challenge

How do! Cleota here!

I hope this post finds you well and in good spirits, as well as, fat and sassy!  heehee  Okay, just well and in good spirits!  I know there's been a lot of people who are fighting the flu and bronchitis these last few weeks.  Get better.

It is time for another inspirational challenge and I'm back to show ya'll what the Dude Time Doodles Dudettes (that's the design team) has created to get your mojo overflowing. 

This month's inspirational challenge is based on these images and colors:

Doesn't this create visions of warm sandy beaches, longnecks on ice, and having fun with your family and friends?  I know a lot of us have had unprecedented snow fall and we're all praying for a little warmer weather.  Let's see what these images have inspired the Dudettes to create, shall we?

The thought of warm weather has inspired Lynn to get Ernie Carpenter started on some much needed house repairs.  Is that sandpaper she's used as accent paper?

Anne can't wait to dine al fresco with Garcon serving up some deliciousness!  Love how the card gives the illusion they are dining outside.

Tammy is still digging out from under all that snow!   She might have a touch of cabin fever along with Eskimo Joe.

Ginny is ready for a hoe down so she can party the night away with Hillbilly Moonshine.  Look out Ginny, that stuff can be stout.

 Driftin' Denton has Theresa day dreaming of catching some much needed rest and relaxation.  Be sure to wear some sunscreen...don't wanna get burnt!

Cowpoke Cal is helping Ruth create a Rootin' Tootin' birthday for someone special.  Hope it's a great one!

 

Boni is hoping that Dr. Strangeglove can cure what ails her or maybe send some healing for someone special!  Wow, 50! Congrats!

Shamus Shamrock will surely help Fink celebrate St. Patrick's Day next month.  He looks like he would be a lot of fun to drink green beer with, doesn't he?

I'd love to go panhandling for diamonds or gold with Cole Miner.  He is truly a diamond in the rough.

Chrissy D. and Eskimo Joe don't feel Punxsutawney Phil got it right.  Love that sentiment!

Harold Hammock has Hetty wishing of warmer and lazier days.  Does anyone else want to laze around with Harold sipping on some iced tea?  Sure looks inviting.

WOW!!  The Dudettes have done a fantastic job with my challenge to them this month.  I'm going to have to up my game a little next time!
